Potentials and possibilities of Ecotourism ♻️
Ecotourism basically ensures the sustainability of environment. It is a trend with various possibilities and potentials. It has the possibility to satisfy human needs for employment and economic development. Sri Lanka being rich in biodiversity ecotourism can cater the needs of the tourists successfully. With adequate support from government and policy makers’ ecotourism can be the prominent foreign income generator in Sri Lanka. Most importantly it can be used as a method to overcome problems such as the decline of natural rainforests, loss of endangered species and global warming and land degradation.
