Tourism industry’s participation to Eco tourism development 🔆✨

The United Nations points out that ecotourism is considered to be the pinnacle of tourism and that people today are increasingly turning to eco tourism. According to a recent statement issued by the World Tourism Organization regarding the ecotourism industry, four basic factors should be taken into account for sustainable tourism development. The importance of eco tourism is underscored by the fact that the United Nations has designated 2002 as the International Year of the Environment. Tourism stakeholders also contribute to the tourism industry's efforts to preserve endangered species of plants and animals by focusing more on the world's endangered species. The fresh concept of the Green Summit has also been receiving a lot of attention in the tourism industry recently. A 1993 report by the World Tourism Council states that the tourism industry has a moral responsibility to protect the environment.
